About Andrea I. Gunderson
A native New Mexican, Andrea Gunderson grew up in Albuquerque and graduated from Valley High School in 1998. She graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, from the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management in 2004 with a Masters in Business Associations, and from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2006 with a Juris Doctorate.
Andrea Gunderson began her legal career at the 2nd Judicial District Attorney's Office as an Assistant District Attorney where she gained extensive trial experience and knowledge regarding criminal law. She then practiced in a private civil firm where she gained experience in various aspects of civil law including wills, property disputes, contracts, personal injury, civil rights and more.
Since its opening in 2010, Andrea Gunderson's law office has been dedicated to our faithful clients and the ethical practice of law. Andrea Gunderson enjoys volunteering her time and expertise to help those in the community. She works with organizations to help homeless in need of legal advice, to prepare documents with the Wills for Heroes program, and she regularly judges the Gene Franchini High School Mock Trial Competition.
